Century West Partners, a joint venture of Fifield Cos. and Cypress Equity Investments has completed NEXT on Sixth, a 398-unit luxury apartment community in Los Angeles. NEXT on Sixth is the second development by Century West Partners in Koreatown, after the completion of its 476-unit K2LA community.
Situated at 620 S. Virgil, the property provides access to various dining, shopping and entertainment options, as well as employment centers, universities and educational institutions and healthcare facilities. The Wilshire and Vermont Metro stations are located within walking distance from the property, as well as Beverly Hills, downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood being only minutes away.
The seven-story building consists of a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. To stand out in a growing market, the property features Target retail store on the ground floor. “Securing an urban Target at NEXT on Sixth is a major coup for our residents and the surrounding community,” said Michael Sorochinsky, co-founder & principal of Century West Partners, in prepared remarks. “The convenience it brings is a major component of the complete lifestyle package NEXT on Sixth offers, including sophisticated in-unit amenities and robust community offerings, at an incredible location.”
NEXT on Sixth is designed with features such as luxe adornments and materials, stainless steel appliance packages, white quartz countertops, eight-foot entry doors, lofty nine-foot ceilings, wood-plank style flooring, front-load washers and dryers, walk-in closets with built-ins, electronic keyless entry, built-in audio systems with in-ceiling speakers and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Los Angeles skyline.
Community amenities include:
– indoor simulated golf range
– gourmet coffee bar
– dog-grooming station and bark park
– controlled access
– gated underground parking
– electric car charging stations
– bicycle storage and bike kitchen
– onsite storage space
– business center
– two-story fitness center
On the exterior, NEXT on Sixth displays 50-foot, billboard-size paintings and a seven-foot tall sculpture, visible in the community’s interior courtyard. Curtis Pittman, a Pacific Northwest artist whose work joins the fields of architecture and sculpture has created the polished stainless steel and powder coated metal commission. The interior features art as well, including hand-blown glass chandeliers.
